This is really a perfect machine

Two years so far with this Thinkpad T30 and it really performs all what I dreamed of as a software developer, Orcale, JBuilder, Eclipse, JDK, J2EE, Websphere, Macromedia Flash, VB.net and much more of heavy software and the machine still performing as brand new!!

Good steady Laptop-USB 1.0 -slow HD

Good steady Laptop-USB 1.0 not good -slow HD is a pain sometimes.
Bought a firewire-USB 2.0 card and upgrade the ram to 512 and now I really like it a lot.
