dvr 7000 recorder

i am a guy that buys only top dogs, i include in the list the jvc digital vcr the 10,000. of which i found totaly superb, at all levels. i can tell you that the pioneer 7000, totally trashes the jvc. it is well built, fairly heavy, and gives 1-1 results. i have top panasonic dvd players, and can confirm that the panasonic is easyer to use, but the pioneer once you get past the over complicated controls, is far superior. you really get what you pay for.
