great until the hard drive crashed.

Only 3 years old and the hard drive crashed and is unretrievable....have never had that happen before; was stellar until then

Heat-related shutdowns are a problem with this model. The solution is to replace the cheap thermal grease between the heat-sink & CPU with silver-based grease/compound. I did this and all the abrubt heat-related shutdowns went away. Turned a paperweight back in to a usable PC!
Two bugs shy of great

It's heavy. But, that was expected when I purchased it. But, there are two bugs. The first is that, from time to time, when typing, the cursor jumps from place to place. You have to watch the screen when you type. Secondly, the machine shuts down when on a bed...I think the cooling fan cuts off, atop the soft surface and the machine goes into a mode to protect itself.

The computer is loaded and full of goodies. Easy to use and I got it at a really good price. Only downside is the weight and size which can be expected with a 16'' screen. Great computer and desktop replacement. Not a good choice if traveling alot.
