its really not that great of a laptop. Its near-sister model the A15-S1292 is kinda crap too.

I'll buy the IBM (Now "Lenovo") Thinkpad X41 Tablet PC ... its way more durable, lighter weight, thinner, and has a significantly better chipset

Good Value, Stable Hardware

I'm a computer professional, and regularly travel to customer sites and recover data, configure servers, setup and test WIFI, etc, so I consider myself a fairly demanding user. So far (1 yr) this laptop has been perfect. I've had Dell and IBMs in the past, so this is my first Toshiba. The A10 is a solid performer. I wish it had 802.11 G built-in, but a pcmcia card fixed that easily. Also, RAM upgrade from stock 256MB to 512MB was less than $50...cheap! I'd buy another one for my son and nephews if I could get my hands on a couple of more.
