I bought the UPS ages ago, and after the battery died from old-age, I left it alone because I couldn't find a replacement locally or anywhere online. Rechecked the availability for the replacement batteries online and found Batteries Plus sells them. Bought generic replacement batteries, the thing chirped and powered on, wonderful powerful system working again.

What I liked about the (original) design was that after the batteries swell from old-age trying to charge, the enclosure that keeps them secure can be completely removed and the swollen batteries lift out very easy and conveniently. Would recommend forever.
