Easy and reliable

This product works great for me. As for XP SP2, there is a firmware on the netgear site that must be downloaded and installed prior to plugging the device in but other than that no problem at all. Maybe they have updated their site since T revied the item but the 3 line instructions on the web site are more than enough.
Great signal quality, easy set up took about 10 minutes. I have nothing bad to say about the product and at $12 you can not beat the price.
Serious problems

Does not work with WinXP SP2. Will reboot your system in a loop.
After digging far into netgear support size from another computer I found some beta drivers that needs to be installed instead, but it has to be done manually and explanations are obviously written by someone who does not speak english or is insane.
AVOID!! I spent so much time to try fix this crappy product!!!
On the box: "setup made quick and easy with smart wizard install assistand and configuration utility"
What a f***ing lie! Even if it DID work properly, you still have to install the drivers manually! :(
My last Netgear product, EVER!

Great Product Worth Buying

I wanted to say this product is great. I wanted to reply to the review that ronsettle posted. The computer kept rebooting rebooting and rebooting because the device was plugged into the system before the driver was installed for the first time. You must install FIRST!!! or your XP machine will do this. Back to the review. This device has excellent speed and works better than anything I have had in the past as far as signal performance goes.

Annoying

-> Administrative tools -> Services then scroll down to Wireless zero config -> properties and then click stop and disable. Click ok and then it should work.
