Very poor build quality. Battery cover started to crack and then snapped off on mine.
okay at first

Reasonably priced when digital cameras were first hitting the scene. Now same issue...battery cover won't close... more mega pixels available now on other models for clearer pictures anyway.
skip this lemon

problems with flash, timer, software and now the battery cover will not close ,unless i am holding it with my thumb. kodak's response was ...i could get a refurbished upgrade for about 100 more dollars. whoopie!! That is how to lose customers!!

Good beginners camera for someone not obsessed with the screen
by Mr. no name on Sep 10th, 2007 at 11:15 PM:
I WOULD NOT recommend this camera to those that are obsessed with ALWAYS using the screen to take shots. The first time I took a picture, I used the viewfinder, and that is how I am used to doing it.
I Would recommend this to people who are selling stuff on eBay, people who don't use the screen too much, people who aren't really destructive to their things, new photographers, people who don't want to read a manual to learn how to operate the camera, and to people who would be willing to get two, two piece sets (4) of AA rechargeable batteries.
