More than worth the money

Don't listen to the cons about low bass quality or lack of durability.
The best sound I've ever heard -granted I've never listened to music through a top of the line home theatre system- was through my Bose tri-port headphones.
And about the durability? These headphones lasted me five years before they started giving out, and that was only because I stepped on them accidentally.
Most headphones between twenty and forty dollars never lasted me six months before the sound quality degraded. In the end, buying a pair of Bose headphones is actually cheaper than buying mid-range headphones... that is if you, like me, listen to music through them on a daily basis.
Best headphones I've used

I own a pair of the Bost Quiet Comfort II headphones, which of course have great noise-cancelling quality, but I've always felt they lack full bass and mid-tones. The on-ear Bose TriPort headphones have a bass response that is full but not boomy - you can actually hear the tone of the bass strings. The mid-tones are excellent, and the high tones are crisp without being tinny. I would recommend these to anyone who takes music seriously.

These headphones are very good. Yes the price makes us unhappy. But I think the bass is pretty good, and its really good if you pout it on bass booster with your ipod. They work better with a large power source such as a computer. My real concern is how thin the head band and cords. I fell like they will fall right off.
Great all around headphones

The very first time i put these headphones on I was blown away by their lightweight nature. Above all this, the sudden sense of comfort you feel around your ears, given the fact that these are "on ear" headphones and not "in ear" ones, it really feels just right. I also believe the distance the headphones have from your ear allow better sounds to be produced and resonate into your ears.
Comfort - 5/5
Sound - 4.5/5 (lacks a bit in the bass area if you really like deep and pounding bass)
The price has alos dropped on these headphones in the last couple months, so it's even more worth it to buy it!
