These headphones are very good. Yes the price makes us unhappy. But I think the bass is pretty good, and its really good if you pout it on bass booster with your ipod. They work better with a large power source such as a computer. My real concern is how thin the head band and cords. I fell like they will fall right off.

Great all around headphones

The very first time i put these headphones on I was blown away by their lightweight nature. Above all this, the sudden sense of comfort you feel around your ears, given the fact that these are "on ear" headphones and not "in ear" ones, it really feels just right. I also believe the distance the headphones have from your ear allow better sounds to be produced and resonate into your ears.

Comfort - 5/5

Sound - 4.5/5 (lacks a bit in the bass area if you really like deep and pounding bass)

The price has alos dropped on these headphones in the last couple months, so it's even more worth it to buy it!

Great sound and comfortable

These headphones fit great around the ear and produce a clean, crisp sound

keeps a lot of outside noise to a minimum

I am actually right now listening to Rhapsody Blue and the quality is great

and I was so happy when I received the headphones from my mom, who admitted to the price.

Really good, and if you take care of them, you will enjoy all your music.
Can't wait to listen to some YES and Siberian Khatru

Pricey yet excellent performance

I have to admit that I am a Bose fan so this maybe slightly biased. I tried various headphones in the above-100 dollar family range but found the Triport the best balance in performance and comfort. Because human hearing is so unique, sound performance reviews could be rather subjective hence I find this headphone (at least for my own ears) well tuned to produce balanced lows, mid and high frequencies. I listen on a medium volume output yet the Triport produces great base and crisp mid and highs. The headphone provides a good seal around my ears so a low volume music almost negates external noise. The longest I had it on is about two hours straight without feeling ear-fatigue.

The price of $139.99 is a little tough to take at first(at least for me) a $100 price tag makes it really attractive. The longer I use this headphone, the more I appreciate it.

great sound but not so tough
