Maxtor has hit it out of the park with the One Touch 4 Mini as far as we're concerned.
Highs: Small; fast; fantastic software package
Lows: No syncing between XP and Vista; boot disc ISO is not on the drive; lacks FireWire connection

Notebook users are often in a pickle when it comes to protecting their precious data, and Maxtor (recently purchased by Seagate) has come up with an ingenious solution in the One Touch 4 Mini. This portable backup drive truly does it all, from offering plenty of space to transfer files between computers, to offering fantastic backup and security options for the truly paranoid.

“Someone above stated that the drive requires both USB cables to power the unit. This is not true in most cases. The extra USB cable connection is for those individuals who have older computers that do not supply 5 volts DC. Some USB ports on laptop computers...” More...
