Summary
Looking for subnotebook that has full features such as keyboard, pen based input and swivel screen yet want it to weigh around 2lb? You got it.
Flybook delivers most of the features that mobile computing needs: portable, both pen and keyboard input, long battery life, all wireless technology built-in. It is equipped with Transmeta Crusoe 1.0 Ghz processor for low power consumption, Flybook is good enough to run your basic office or home application. It uses the regular 2.5" hard drive. You can choose the hard drive size from 40G to 80G. With the 8" WXGA resolution, Flybook resembles the size of JVC 7310 and can be considered as one of smallest Tablet PC.
The most interesting part of this Flybook is, it has the built-in triband GSM/GPRS wireless built-in. That allows you to insert a GSM sim card and connect the Flybook directly into any GPRS network (subscription to GPRS is required). With the provided phone software, you can even use Flybook as your mobile phone. Just talk through the built-in microphone and listen to the other party through the speaker of the unit. It is very convenient for people who travel a lot. Moreover, Flybook is equipped with built-in bluetooth and wireless network 802.11b WIFI as well.
