The Dimage Scan Elite 5400 integrates Digital ICE3 technology and offers a resolution of 5400dpi. The slim, vertical design has a small footprint maximizing its space efficiency around the computer and connects to it through a FireWire or USB 2.0 interface. The Elite 5400's film holders use a hinged cover to hold filmstrips and mounted slides, allowing a slide to be changed without having to eject the holder from the scanner.With 5,400 dpi resolution, advanced lens optics, simple scanning and image-processing procedures, plus USB or FireWire interfaces, creating beautiful digital scans is "quick as a click."
