Summary
The DVD player has been the most quickly adopted consumer electronic product ever, and Mitsubishi was among the first to bring it to market. Consumers appreciate the picture clarity, the digital surround sound, and the easy access DVDs provide, along with the huge selection of titles available. Mitsubishi has consistently offered a leading line of exciting DVD players with superior picture quality, new features, and more affordable prices. The DD-7040 has all the features and performance of the DD-6040 plus the addition of DVD-RW Playback and DVD-Audio. This allows the DD-7040 to play the new six-channel, 24-bit audio discs that reduce noise and distortion to nearly immeasurable levels. It also provides six-channel analog output for direct connection to many AV receivers and can pass decoded Dolby Digital 5.1 audio along these same connections.
