Oppo Digital looks to have stolen a page from the design book of Apple in their stylish new LT-2007. There’s no computer housed in this bad boy however – instead you get a 20” LCD/DVD player combo loaded with features and priced at $599.The Oppo Digital LT-2007 comes in a slim translucent case which makes this LCD TV look reminiscent of Apple displays from a few years back. The LCD portion of this unit is measured at 20.1 inches, with overall measurements and weight being 20-3/8” x 20” x 8” and 26.4lbs respectively. These dimensions make the LT-2007 ideal for small viewing spaces such as a dorm room or kitchen. And there’s even a cradle on the backside to slide in the included remote control when not in use.
On the television side of things, the LT-2007 offers quite a lot for such a compact form factor. For starters, the EDTV TFT flat panel screen can be tilted to offer multiple viewing angles. It has built-in a 181-channel NTSC tuner with automatic station scanning and fine tuning. Heaped on top of these items are technical aspects like 800 x 600 pixel resolution, 500:1 contrast ratio, 4:3 aspect ratio, MTS/SAP decoding, two built-in 3 watt speakers and a digital 3D comb filter.

The LT-2007’s DVD player is built into the base and is a slot loading design. It offers progressive scan and digital connectivity for what Oppo Digital describes is the best picture quality possible. A wide variety of DVD and CD disc formats are supported as well, including DVD-Video, DivX video format, XviD, Audio CD, HDCD, WMA, Kodak Picture CD, CD-R/CD-RW, DVD-R/DVD-RW, and DVD+R/DVD+RW. The LT-2007 is also capable of outputting Dolby Digital and DTS surround sound via a digital audio output connection.
Speaking of connections, the backside of the LT-2007 is quite loaded with input and output options to support functions like displaying digital photos, playing video games or enjoying the system as part of a larger home entertainment package. On the input side you get component video, S-video, composite video, VGA, stereo audio and USB, while on the output side you have headphones as well as the previously mentioned digital audio (coaxial).
The Oppo Digital LT-2007 includes a user manual, remote control, power adapter, VGA cable, A/V cable, stereo audio cable, coaxial digital audio cable, USB cable and 5-in-1 USB memory card reader which supports SecureDigital, MultiMedia Card, Memory Stick, SmartMedia and CompactFlash memory cards.
